Spiraling Stock Market may get a boost as the week progresses with "BIG AL" speaking to the Senate Banking committee onTuesday, and OPTIONS (FEB) for the Stock Index' EXPIRING on FRIDAY just before a Three Day weekend. JAPAN is on Holiday today and after the BOJ's (Bank of Japan) rate Decrease on Friday may see a Very Weak Yen throughout the week. Other key reports and events are as follows. RETAIL SALES are expected to climb when reported Tuesday to +0.5% from Jan's soft 0.1%. Wed BUSINESS INVENTORIES are +0.2% down from last month's +0.5%. FRIDAY the PPI (Producer Price Index) a inflation indicator will rise 0.3% of which a third of that is energy. Beside the Stock Index' expirations (DOW-S&P-NASDAQ) Mar ORANGE JUICE and ALL GRAIN options also EXPIRE.  CRUDE OIL for March expires on WEDNESDAY. ON TO THE TRADES.

COTTON-made"my day" Friday as ,with the options expiring (and us owning PUTS as recommended ) the market tumbled down to 57.10 before settling back at 58.35. Look for a reversal cleanout toward 60.00 where SELLING again would be quite lucrative.

S&P-opened up DOWN a point and may rally as many as 10 points today on retracement factors. BUY the breakout above unchanged (1323.50) and exit at 1330.00

02/07/01

Right to the TRADES.
S&P-down on the overnight (5 1/2 points) BUY here 1350.25 with a 1346.75 stop
and EXIT at UNCHANGED.

SUGAR- 10.00 PUTS for 8 points ($100) TWO DAYS TILL EXPIRATION!!!
(move could be surprising)

COTTON-60.00 PUTS for 30 points ($150) CROP PRODUCTION report due

Unless you went with the "GLASSES" three daytrades on Thursday where
we were an embarrassing 0-2-1. Might as well have broken out the DARTBOARD and MONKEY system (we offer a FREE Monkey and Dartboard to self-trading clients with a $100K) . Will this week be better??? Since past performances are never indicative of future results I DON'T KNOW, but we shall see.
Very light on the "report" end this week. Wednesday PRODUCTIVITY and UNIT LABOR COSTS for the 4th quarter will be mixed with the former moving up 1.5% (prev 3.8%) and the latter at 3.5% (2.5% prev) which could point to more panic in the Stock Market. Consumer credit also due for release is down to $7.5 Bil from $12.9. Thursday is the FULL MOON and CROP PRODUCTION report as well as Wholesale Inventories (unchanged). FRIDAY a SLEW of OPTIONS EXPIRE including CURRENCIES, SUGAR, COFFEE, COTTON, SILVER, Gold and PLATINUM. On to the TRADES.

YEN-stabilizing near our original target of 8800 (at 8752 now) will become a good PUT PLAY when that level is broken. Look for 8750 's for 12 points ($150).

COTTON-SUGAR-and GRAINS become option plays WEDNESDAY just before the
CROP PRODUCTION reports to take advantage of some fundamentals.

OK, for those who POSITIVELY, ABSOLUTELY have to TRADE today a mid-morning ONEGLASS DAYTRADE SPECIAL (geared toward the NASDAQ and S&P) will be forth coming. I do primarily trade OPTION accounts as that is best way to control the risk (only BUYING puts or calls) but I do recommend to present and future clients that you allow me to handle TWO accounts for YOU, one with OPTIONS ONLY and the second for DAYTRADING. This is a form of diversification in itself and a very good way to track returns. As long as you understand that the past recommendations (whether winners or losers) are no definite indication of future performance I will be more than happy to provide you with the necessary information to get started in the FUTURES WORLD of ONEGLASS.             'NUFF SAID
